About

I have found that I am best able to express myself by creating artwork. When I began to explore what I wanted to study at Central Washington University, photography and video became part of my daily life. I started viewing everything as a still photograph or a single frame of a movie. I began to find myself linking images together to create a storyline. I decided to pursue these interests by focusing on film in school.
My favorite aspect of filmmaking is cinematography. I love how specifically chosen colors and images can subconsciously affect the viewer to feel a certain way. The combination of an artistic image and the technology that brings it to life fascinates me. I use Canon HD SLR cameras with an array of lenses to capture what I see – and make it come to life onscreen.
